The Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Ministry provide a Brotherhood of Christian bikers who get together to fellowship and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

 

 

The New Waverly  Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Ministry takes the Word of our Heavenly Father into prison with the Bill Glass Prison Ministry,  Great Adventures Prison Ministry, and through the State of  Texas Prison Volunteer Program, as well as other programs and ministries. Our Food Trailer Ministry feeds all who are hungry at some of the local rallies. We have  meals, water, coffee , tea, soft drinks, and Bibles, and tracts. We offer the crowd a quiet place to eat or just sit and talk with any one of us. Anywhere we can be a help to those who are searching for a personal relationship with Christ. Everywhere we go we tell people that there is someone who cares about them and is praying for them.   HSMM Chapters work together to help those in need. We do enjoy a  fellowship ride, but we always ride with a mission.

 

 

The New Waverly  Heaven's Saints Motorcycle Ministry, is a Ministry not a club. It is not our desire to control any specific state, city or location. It is however our desire to assist those in need in whatever way we can. Our bylaws are the Bible. We will do our best to guide others into a personal relationship with GOD through His SON, JESUS. We believe that JESUS is the answer to any problems you may be facing. We are always glad to pray for and with others.

 

Our Ministry can be recognized by the patch we wear consisting of the Christian flag, with the Heaven's Saints armor patch located in the bottom, right hand corner. The Christian flag belongs to no one person or group, but symbolizes the unity of Christians. The "Armor" patch stands for putting on the full armor of Christ.

 

"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Take up your shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God. "Ephesians 6:14-16

Heaven's Saints didn't always wear the Christian Flag on their backs. Previously, we wore a full-size Heaven's Saints patch on our backs. While ministering at Daytona Beach Bike Week, the Lord gave Barry Mayson the vision of wearing the Christian Flag on our backs and placing our small (then our support patch) in the lower right hand corner. This meant cutting off the Heaven's Saints Armour of the Lord patch that God had given him so many years before. It was hard, VERY HARD, but he did it right then and there under the ministry tent in Daytona Beach, Florida. Not only did the Lord show him that the Heaven's Saints should do this; but Barry felt led to urge other Christian motorcycle ministries do the same - wear the Christian Flag on their back with their ministry identification in the lower right hand corner. The scripture the Lord gave Barry is found in John 3:30 "He must increase, but we must decrease". Many Heaven's Saints then and in the months following received the vision with understanding and followed in wearing the Christian Flag. Others ended up leaving the Heaven's Saints ministry because they didn't like the change. Not only did we receive criticism from our own members, but members and especially leaders of other ministries accused the Heaven's Saints of various things, one of which was trying to absorb all of the other Christian ministries into one big ministry run by Barry! Well, here we are, years later, and we have brothers and sisters in other ministries who also wear the Christian Flag who are what we call "covenant" with us and us with them. It has worked to unite us and yet to keep the individual ministries as the members want them.

Since the Christian flag belongs to no one, anyone can wear it without necessarily belonging to any ministry, association, club, organization, or incorporation.
